| Description: | The Sr. HR Generalist will be an integral part of the HR team and will perform a variety of professional and administrative tasks in Human Resources areas including: Benefits Administration; Employee Relations/ Liaison; HRIS/ HR Records Management; Regulatory Compliance, Management Coaching, Staffing, and Employee Communications. The ideal candidate will have both international and multi-site, client service focused experience. This person must also be able to build credibility with all levels of the organization, effectively manage multiple projects and priorities, and be seen as a trusted and confidential resource to managers and employees seeking guidance on questions related to employee relations, benefits or company guidelines/practices. |
| Duties: | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1)Responsible for benefits administration: interfacing with benefit providers on all benefits programs (e.g. medical/dental/ vision, STD, LTD, life insurance, worker’s compensation, FMLA, COBRA, FSA, and 401(k) savings plan); invoicing; open enrollment; enrolling new employees; and assisting in clearly communicating benefit programs and addressing questions from all levels of staff on Numara Software’s benefit offerings, both nationally and internationally. Resolving employee complaints related to all benefit plans. Processing required documents through payroll, HRIS and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions; notifying COBRA provider and carriers of terminations.
2)Partners with HR and Company leadership to communicate various HR guidelines, programs, events and job postings and other items of interest on our company’s HR Intranet. Administers quarterly survey to employees on Employee of the Quarter nominations.
3)Prepares and maintains accurate employee files, reports and reporting systems; and processes new hire offers/ and International employment agreements. Coordinates background checks
4)Conducts interviews and responsible for new employee orientations to ensure that employees gain an understanding of benefit plans and Company guidelines/practices, and are made to feel welcome.
5)Compiles periodic reports from the HRB system for intra and inter-departmental needs.
6)Ensures that our programs are in compliance with federal and state laws (e.g. AAP preparation (including EEO-1 Reporting and Vets 100/ non-discrimination testing on our 401(k) plan, etc.)
7)Assists in guiding managers and employees in addressing employee relations issues. Provides manager coaching on various employee issues that may arise.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

| Qualifications: | •8+ years in Human Resources in a customer focused culture
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent experience
•PHR/SPHR certification strongly desired
•Knowledge of state and federal employment laws to include: EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.
•Outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
•Proven ability to build credible and trusted relationships with and influence diverse audiences; comfortable communicating one-on-one or in front of large groups
•Strong focus on listening and responsiveness
•Must be motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing organization.
•Excellent computer skills are a must (MS Officesuite, Publisher, familiarity with HRIS systems)
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate good judgment
•Superior attention to detail and strong analytical skills
•Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues
•Sense of urgency and continual drive for process improvement
