| Description: | The Product Marketing Manger will have primary responsibility for developing market requirements documents, defining & implementing product oriented marketing initiatives to facilitate the effective sale of Numara Software products to new prospects and existing customers
Product marketing initiatives include developing and implementing product marketing strategies & comprehensive go-to-market plans, defining core product positioning/messaging, create effective sales tools & core collateral pieces, and driving the successful launch of new product releases or new products. He/she will work closely with a cross-functional team including product management, sales, corporate marketing, and operations to deliver the initiatives as defined.

| Duties: | Strategy
•Research definition & delivery of specific market requirements documents (MRD’s)
•Defines/implements product positioning & messaging for usage across all forms of communications
•Oversees product launches & launch team
•Manages submissions to product evaluation reviews, bake-offs, surveys, etc.
•Maintains strong knowledge of our customers and market through primary and secondary research and analyzing customer data
•Creates and manage buyer profiles/personas
•Works with Marketing Managers for new and existing customers to create programs for acquisition, retention, and add-ons
Sales Readiness
• Responsible for definition/development of product sales/marketing guides
• Creates product marketing tools, TCO/ROI tools, product positioning, Technical overviews, sales training
• Responsible for delivering competitive analysis and competitive response
• Works with SEs and PMs to drive webinar and seminar strategy, content, and delivery
• Responsible for our products’ positioning related to industry issues, topics and standards
Including ITIL, Green IT, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.
• Win/loss analysis

| Qualifications: | Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience in software product marketing, Help desk/service desk industry experience a strong plus
• Strong understanding of Technology and ability to present technical information on both a Technical level and a business level
• Will become ITIL certified (if not already)
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to leverage software technology such as Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, database applications, and CRM applications
• A team player attitude who can “carry their own weight” but bring value to the team through close
Collaboration and knowledge exchange.
• Good problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills
• Proficient technical writing with proven ability to compose white papers, datasheets, etc..
• Competency in Microsoft & Unix operating systems, and IIS & Apache web servers.
